What questions can you ask a photographer?

I have to do a one-on-one interview for a class. I%26#039;m going to college for photography, so I have to interview someone in that field. I have to ask a minimum of 10 questions. Some can be simple, and some have to be... lets just say more than simple.
What questions can you ask a photographer?
Here are a few you might ask. Assume the photographer could be either male or female.

1)Ask about their education pertaining to photography. School, did they like it or would they recommend it. Things of that nature.

2) Brands of equipment they use and why.

3) Any unforgettable photoshoots they%26#039;ve done. Let%26#039;s face it, life doesn%26#039;t always go right and neither does photography. Possibly a threatening, scary experience (nature, wildlife photogs). Or a shoot that just went haywire. Example: Trying to get a good view of a remote waterfall I managed to get myself on a small ledge %26quot;off trail%26quot; but couldn%26#039;t manage to get back to the trail. Long story but you probably get my point).

I%26#039;m sure other photogs in here will come up with more questions you could ask.

Good luck with your interview.
What questions can you ask a photographer?
I always ask fellow photogs a few questions:

1) What was your first camera? Always a different answer from everyone, normally a good story to go along with it

2) Where do you think photography will be in 10 years?

3) How did you get your start? School? Assistant jobs? What advice could you offer to someone starting off in this field?

*I asked number three to a professional of more than 25 years, and the conversation on that question alone went on for an hour. Most photographers will relate thier mistakes, so maybe one day you wont have to make those same mistakes.

4) Where do you see your own work going in the next few years? Artistcally/technically.

5) What is the one thing/place/person you have always wanted to photograph?

Good luck
