Hi all, I need some ideas for a project in fabricated steel sculpture that involves welding steel and making a sculpture by using mix media.
Fabricated steel sculpture?
I would suggest welding some steel, and then mixing up some media and combining it. If this is for an art class you probably ought to develop some kind of personal connection to your work.

How about taking some flat sheet steel (16 or 18 gauge) about 18 x 24 inches (or any size), welding other steel objects to it in a design (or pattern) of your own and painting the objects with acrylic or enamel paint? The artwork could be a wall-mounted piece or put on a pedestal.
